This problem is exacerbated by the fact that the transmission is a hydrostatic drive system, not a gear system, which means that even with minimal throttle the forward progress is too fast for the hydraulic front blade to cope with same. Lots of luck trying to steer if the ground is even slightly uneven. The hydraulics are controlled by the other hand. Steering is controlled by two levers operated by one hand placed over both. ![]() ![]() There are also no steering brakes in the design. When plowing snow, the angle is not adequate because large clumps of snow will exit the high side of the blade.
