Not to mention that the creative direction is off the charts. It's like a cartoon episode, caricaturizing the food industry as this overly industrialized and greedy corporation that doesn't care for whatever resources they are wasting to sell their products as much as they care for the money, and the money only. This theme is clearly at its most prominent whenever the track gets a chance to get a laugh out of food industries and commercialism, such as the taglines on the “Quit it while you're ahead!” section, and the use of industrialized machinery to package and sell a box of so-called “Bosh-O's”. My favorite detail is the trademark symbol tacked on to nearly every lyric written out, which perfectly represents the homogenization of industries and corporations copyrighting everything with their name on it. Having first touched Line Rider only four months ago, she has put that creativity to brilliant use in a lot of her tracks, especially one of her latest, You Want It? The track begins with the singer telling us “Why don't you look out the window?”, only to be immediately thrown into an explosive corridor of eyes that seem to look directly at Bosh. I could write a whole essay on this, but I think I will restrain this to a one liner: this is the best track I’ve seen in a real long time, so please keep making more!Īva Hofmann has proven herself to be one of the most promising Line Rider creators as of this year, and it should come as no surprise, considering that she has an entire avant-poetry scene behind her back. The extreme dependency on unhealthy and overly processed food and social media is brilliantly highlighted in this stunningly visual piece. Rapidly becoming one of the most interesting Line Rider creators, Hofmann strikes gold again with this absurdist insight into consumerist culture. □ = not recommended You Want It? - Ava Hofmann I also like to write reviews on things I’m interested in, hence, my guest review in this roundup.Ĭlick here for a playlist of all videos in this roundup (in order). I’ve been creating Line Rider tracks for about seven months, but I’m also interested in other subjects, such as psychology and music production. I’m interested in several art mediums that aren’t Line Rider, but I found Line Rider as an art form to be one of the most accessible for an online medium. He will also be reviewing You Want It? by Ava Hofmann, and will also introduce himself: Fifths from April’s roundup and We Don’t Wanna Die from March’s roundup, as well as Everybody Asked About You from Line Rider Review’s Elevator Pitch #2: Early 2021 Tracks That SLAP. Our second guest reviewer is DeafTab, who you may recall as the creator of The Fall of Mr. So I am honoured by this opportunity to do the same for other creators. Ironically it was Line Rider Review that critiqued my first few stumbling experiments all those years ago, lighting a fire in me that fuelled my creative juices. I’ve dabbled in many styles of track making and always personally appreciated feedback and criticism of my works. My monotonous tones have provided an uninflected backdrop to many creator interviews, tutorials and even track voice-acting roles ! I’ve been a part of the community since whenever Toivo joined, and made a few interesting tracks along the way. Hi I’m Hanuman, you may remember me from such paradigm-shattering discoveries as the Hanual, the Kranuman or even the long lost Unicornual. He’ll be reviewing You Want It? by Ava Hofmann, Summer/Storm by Matthew Buckley, Threnody by Ava Hofmann, Chase the Mountains by vsbl, CircloO 2 by TheMatsValk, Space Mountain by Xavier Lundberg, and Bosh finds his dad by Roaxial. Our first guest reviewer is Hanuman, who you may remember as the creator of Delirium, #8 in Line Rider Review’s Top 10 Line Rider Tracks of 2019. It’s been a bit of a slower month for Line Rider, but I’m extremely pleased to have two new guest reviewers on this month! I thought it was really fun to have multiple perspectives on the same track in last month’s roundup so I’m gonna keep doing it!

I presently own a larger dozer and have many hours operating it. I have owned and operated several dozers. This makes a front 吐loat when grading Very hard to control This type transmission works well on riding mowers but not on dozers. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that the transmission is a hydrostatic drive system, not a gear system, which means that even with minimal throttle the forward progress is too fast for the hydraulic front blade to cope with same. Lots of luck trying to steer if the ground is even slightly uneven. The hydraulics are controlled by the other hand. Steering is controlled by two levers operated by one hand placed over both. There are also no steering brakes in the design. When plowing snow, the angle is not adequate because large clumps of snow will exit the high side of the blade. When it was done, we opened the smoker and found these perfectly cooked birds – I couldn’t have been more thrilled!Īfter enjoying our delicious dinner that night, we each had extra chicken to take home and I used the cubed breast meat to make my new favorite, smoked chicken salad. We put the chickens in the smoker, inserted the thermometer probe in one of them, closed the door, set the desired internal temperature, and walked away. Once we had the birds in there, my friend and I spent a few hours chatting and making other recipes to enjoy alongside the chicken for dinner. This smoker is truly a “set and forget it” appliance. No fussing with it, little to no refueling thanks to a much larger smoker box, and you can literally walk away and let it do its thing. This smoker is electric and digitally programmed which means it automatically maintains the perfect temperature hour after hour. Even with auto-feeding pellet grills, there is refilling and monitoring needed. Traditional smokers use hardwood and are often difficult to keep the temperature level, requiring constant management. They go straight onto the racks to get the most even exposure to the smoke – no extra equipment needed. A little compound butter under the skin on the breasts, two lemon halves tucked inside the cavities, a quick brushing with oil and sprinkling of dry rub on top, and then we slid them into the smoker. A friend and I decided to give this new toy a test drive together and we smoked 4 whole large chickens. When I worked for CharBroil, I received an electric smoker to review. Lightly smoked but not overpowering, the chicken balances beautifully with the grapes and pecans for a lunch or dinner that I would welcome any day. One of my favorite meals is chicken salad and today’s version, Smoked Chicken Salad is a real delight. Right click on those items and click Move to Trash to delete them. How to Uninstall Eclipse SDK Application/Software on Your Mac I’d recommend Everspace 2 first just because it’s a lot more new player friendly and you don’t have to suffer through lots of bugs and server resets. There’s also the fact that you can easily just play both. Would you rather play a deep and complex space life simulator that’s primarily an MMO sandbox, or would you rather play a single player looter shooter open world RPG? It’s very well polished and has a lot of content but it’s focusing primarily on being an open world RPG that just also happens to have the aesthetics of a space sim, as opposed to the mechanics of one. Meanwhile, Everspace 2 is not going for the “Huge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Space Sim” audience that Star Citizen is, instead it’s much more like Borderlands except in space and you play as a space ship instead of a dude. So in essence Star Citizen has made a huge amount of progress and gets major game content updates every 3 months or so, but it’s still fairly unstable and buggy.Īll that said, it very much is in a playable spot right now, but it’s a very in-depth sandbox with a lot of moving parts and complexity to it that many people won’t be super interested in, so if you like the idea of EVE except first person crossed with Second Life crossed with DayZ, and you’re okay with bugs and performance issues that get fixed over time, you’ll probably get a big kick out of Star Citizen. And it’s all wrapped up in a very nice seamless open world where flying from space down to a planet, getting off your ship and walking around on foot is all one continuous process. A dynamic mission and reputation system with missions that string together and can have competitive counter-missions other players can pick up, a crime and punishment system including a prison with related missions and escape opportunities, a nutritional system and status effect system for each character, and a large variety of equipments, armor pieces, and weapons + attachments. Cavern systems, various space stations all fully loaded with shops and services. 3 full sized planets with various biomes and atmospheric conditions and weather patterns, as well as large cities you can wander around in, dozens of moons with their own unique features and locations. There’s a very well-polished and balanced flight model. The game has a very large assortment of ships that can be obtained in-game for free just by earning credits as you’d expect. Gingham and houndstooth are appropriate, based on color choice.įor less formal attire such as an evening out, madras, tartan plaid and tatter stall are more appropriate. We have highlighted 9 checkered shirt patterns here, which is a lot of information to digest! So to summarize:įor more formal work events, graph checks, pin checks, windowpane and shepherd checks are the most appropriate. The intricate nature of the pattern creates an element of texture and depth, and is perfect for a formal work setting! This pattern generally consists of one color set against white. Pin Check s a pattern created with pin sized stripes that cross to form tiny checks that appear as dots from a distance. Tatterstall checkered shirts are great for a casual evening out, but may appear a tad less than formal for your typical work setting. Tatterstall checkered patterns consist of regularly spaced vertical and horizontal stripes, alternating, and sometimes three colors. As is the case with windowpane shirts, given the two tone, conservative nature of graph check shirts, they are considered suitable for formal workplace settings. The pattern is characterized by solid, thin, single colored stripes that cross each other. Graph Check is a pattern consisting of lines crossing each other to form small checks, resembling graph paper pattern. This pattern is perfect for a more formal, work setting. Shepherds Check has derived its name from the plaid design worn by Shepherds in the hills of the Scottish borders. While a Shepherds Check looks similar to a Gingham checkered shirt, the key difference is that it is set against a twill background. Shepherds Check is a pattern consisting of alternating colored stripes crossing each other to form a checkered pattern, set against a twill weave backdrop. Tartan plaid shirts are best suited for more casual settings. While similar in pattern to the madras check, tartan plaid ties are less colorful with significantly less color tones than your typical madras styled shirt. Tartan Plaid consists of vertical and horizontal stripes crossing each other to form uneven checks. A madras shirt is best suited for casual or preppy wear during the summer months. The pattern consists of different colored stripes that cross each other to form unevenly sized checks. It is typically considered a summer fabric style that is distinguished by a pattern of colorful checks and stripes. Madras is a pattern that originated in the southern city of Madras, India. Of course, I would most likely avoid the pink gingham shirt at work, but its up to you to discern if you have that level of flair! Gingham checks are versatile and can be worn in a variety of settings, both formal and casual. Today, gingham is offered in a variety of colors. Gingham was introduced to the mid 18 th century, with blue and white being the most popular choice of color. This pattern is formed by horizontal and vertical stripes, typically of the same color, that cross each other on a white background to form a checkered design. Gingham is a checkered pattern shirt that is distinguished by what are typically white and colored even sized checks. Here are 9 types of check patterns for shirts: Gingham Shirts This guide is here to inform you of different types of checkered shirt patterns, given the increased interest in this pattern variation over the last few years, versus the traditional, more conservative striped shirts that used to flatter men’s torsos during the days of yesteryear. While a man’s shirt has always been deemed an absolutely critical component of his fashion attire, the emphasis on the dress shirt in the recent years has resulted in an increased demand for both specialty off the rack shirt retailers and bespoke / made to measure shirt specialists and there are an abundance of shirting patterns to choose from. |
